How we protect kids
No camera
Lulu has no camera at all. It listens only after its wake word or a button press.
Hardware mute switch
A physical switch cuts the microphone, so it works even if software doesn’t.
Kid-safe answers
Age filters and curated content keep conversations suitable for ages 4–10.
No ads. No purchases.
No advertising, no in-chat purchases and no nudging kids to ask you to buy.
No open web or social
Lulu doesn’t browse the open web and has no social features or contact with strangers.
PDPA-minded privacy
We design around the principles of Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

Gentle, then a grown-up
If a child shares something worrying, such as feeling unsafe, Lulu responds gently, keeps details calm and encourages them to talk to a trusted adult. With alerts enabled, you’ll be notified.
Lulu is a friendly helper, not a replacement for supervision or professional support.

We design Lulu around PDPA 2010 principles: notice, consent, purpose limitation, security, retention and access. Details may be updated as the beta progresses.

We’re designing Lulu with rounded edges, no small removable parts and a protected battery. We’ll publish toy-safety test results before public launch, and share them with beta families on request.
